Personally i think it would look dated and a bit plain on the stock seats. Everything that i have read, best bang for the buck seems to be roadwire. Coast to coast your premium leather seat covers are safe from defects of craftsmanship and material.

The reason the grain on katzkin is so large is because that is how they can easily hide flaws in the leather. Not too bad for some peace of mind. You have to decide that for your self.
